Writers Are The New Prompt Engineers

The other day, someone referred to me as a "prompt engineer." This was said with a straight face, as if I were a seasoned welder or someone who knew how to fix a carburetor. "Oh, no," I corrected. "I'm just a writer." But the more I thought about it, the more I realized: Writers are the new prompt engineers.
